The President of the Republic conferred decorations of the Republic of Estonia03.02.2003
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed the resolution to confer, on the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of the Republic of Estonia and in recognition of services to the country and people, national decorations on outstanding scientists, educationalists, cultural figures, economists, freedom fighters, politicians, state and local government officials, and promoters of civil society, democracy and international cooperation.
A total of 293 individuals both from Estonia and abroad will receive orders.
