The President of the Republic sent a message of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation

President Arnold Rüütel in his address to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed on behalf of the people of Estonia and on his own behalf deep condolences to the relatives of the victims of Irkutsk plane crash.
The message of condolences runs: ''It was with deep sorrow that I learned of the horrible accident with a passenger airplane from Moscow that crashed in Irkutsk causing the death of more than a hundred people. I wish you and your people strength to overcome that terrible tragedy.''
