The President of the Republic appointed ambassadors

President Arnold Rüütel today, June 13, at Kadriorg signed a resolution to appoint Miko Haljas Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Croatia, residing in Budapest; Jaan Hein Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Ukraine, the Republic of Georgia and the Republic of Moldova, residing in Kiev; Meelike Palli Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Denmark, residing in Copenhagen; Margus Rava Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of France and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, Permanent Representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in Paris; Andres Tomasberg Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Italy, residing in Rome; and Mati Vaarmann Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Czech Republic, residing in Prague.

The President of the Republic recalled Toivo Tasa, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Croatia; Paul Lettens, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Ukraine, the Republic of Georgia and the Republic of Moldova; Taavi Toome, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Denmark; Andres Talvik, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of France and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, Permanent Representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in Paris; Jüri Seilenthal, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Italy; and Eve-Külli Kala, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Czech Republic.
