Book of Condolences will be opened tomorrow at the Office of the President

Starting from tomorrow, March 15, Books of Condolences for President Meri will be opened in all county centres of Estonia. In Tallinn, Books of Condolences will be opened tomorrow, at 10 am, at the Office of the President of the Republic (A. Weizenbergi 39) and at the National Library (Tõnismägi 2).

The President of the Republic, the Chairman of the Riigikogu and the Prime Minister will be the first to sign the Book of Condolences at 9.45 a.m.

The Book of Condolences will remain open starting from tomorrow’s Day of Mourning until Sunday, March 19, every day from 10 am to 5 pm. The members of the Estonian Defence Forces can sign a Book of Condolences at the Defence Forces’ garrisons. Since today, an electronic book of condolences on the Internet has been opened at the following address: www.riik.ee/lennartmeri

After the funeral all condolences will be forwarded to the family of President Lennart Meri.
