The President of the Republic sent a letter of condolences to the Republic of Poland

President Arnold Rüütel today sent a letter of condolences to President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczynski. In his letter, the President of the Republic expressed condolences on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Estonia on the occasion of the disastrous accident that took place in Chorzow.
The letter of condolences runs: ''It was with deep sorrow that I learned of the tragic accident in Chorzow that claimed the life of so many people. I wish you and your people strength to overcome this terrible tragedy.''
