The President of the Republic promulgated sixteen acts21.12.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed resolutions to promulgate the Insurance Activities Act; the Act on Amendments to the Social Welfare Act and to Associated Acts; the Act on Amendments to the Social Welfare Act and the Social Benefits for Disabled Persons Act and Associated Acts; the Act on Amendments to the Social Welfare Act; the State Budget of the Year 2005 Act, passed by the Riigikogu on December 8, 2004; the Act on Amendments to the State Boarders Act, passed by the Riigikogu on December 14, 2004; the Act on Amendments to the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Act; the Act on Amendments to § 43 of the State Pension Insurance Act; the Act on Amendments to the Fishing Act; the Act on Amendments to the Local Government Organisation Act; the Act on Amendments to the Packaging Excise Duty Act, the Packaging and the State Fees Act; the Act on Ratification of the Convention between the Republic of Estonia and the Kingdom of Spain for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital and the Protocol Thereto, passed by the Riigikogu on December 15, 2004; the Act on Amendments to the Rescue Act, the Chemicals Act, the National Defence League Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Health Care Services Organisation Act; the Act on Amendments to the Business Code, the Non-Profit Associations Act, the Foundations Act, the Commercial Associations Act, the Health Insurance Act and the Estonian Health Insurance Fund Act; the Act on Amendments to the Research and Development Activities Act and the Study Allowances and Study Loans Act, passed by the Riigikogu on December 16, 2004.
