The President of the Republic promulgated eight acts07.10.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed resolutions to promulgate the Act on Amendments to the Copyright Act, the Act on Amendments to the Election Acts, the Act on Amendments to the State Fees Act, and the Act on the Ratification of the Audio-visual Co-production Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Estonia and the Government of Canada passed by the Riigikogu on 22 September 2004; and also the Act on Amendments to the European Parliament Election Act, the Act on Amendments to the Anti-corruption Act and Wages Act, the Act on the Ratification of the Convention concerning Minimum Standards in Merchant Ships and Protocol Thereto, and the Act on the Accession to the Partial Agreement Setting up the European Support Fund for the Co-Production and Distribution of Creative Cinematographic and Audiovisual works ''Eurimages'' passed by the Riigikogu on 29 September 2004.
