It is not only every month but even every week that some important developments in Romania's EU accession process take place. The EU enlargement is important for guaranteeing stability and security in Europe as a whole, and we are sincerely pleased to see that Romania is moving towards the EU membership,'' President Rüütel said.

In the words of Ambassador Fătu, Romania has with great interest followed the reform process in Estonia, and is grateful for the EU accession experience that Estonia has shared with Romania. ''Estonia is a country with whom we have become more and more connected through membership in international organisations, and Romanians are discovering Estonia for themselves in many different fields,'' the Ambassador said.
