PRELIMINARY NOTICE: The President of the Republic to leave for a working visit to Georgia20.11.2005
President Arnold Rüütel will leave on Tuesday, November 22, for a working visit to the Republic of Georgia, where he will meet with the President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili and participate in celebratory events marking the 2nd anniversary of the Revolution of Roses in Tbilisi. The anniversary of the Revolution of Roses will be celebrated on November 23.
A bilateral meeting of the Heads of State of Estonia and Georgia is scheduled for Tuesday. On Wednesday, the President of the Republic is due to deliver a speech at the forum of Heads of State, dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of the Revolution of Roses, where also the heads of state of Georgia, Ukraine and Romania will participate. The forum will focus on the development of democracy in Georgia, Ukraine and other countries and strengthening of cooperation with Euro-Atlantic structures.
President Rüütel will also attend the ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone for the Freedom Monument in Tbilisi and the gala concert dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of the Revolution of Roses in Georgia.
The President of the Republic will return to Estonia from the working visit on Thursday, November 24.
