The President of the Republic met with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait15.11.2005
 President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Estonia, Abdulhamid Abdulla Al Awadhi who presented his Letter of Credentials.
According to the President of the Republic during the last decade the development of Kuwait has been become a focus of interest for the whole world. "We have closely observed developments in your region and we recognise the steps taken by Kuwait to safeguard its stability and security," President Rüütel said.
The Head of Estonian State thanked Kuwait for the opportunity given to Estonian soldiers serving in Iraq to enjoy the hospitality of Kuwait during their off-service time.
The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait expressed hope that during his term of office the relations between the two countries would intensify and extended the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait to President Rüütel.
