The President of the Republic met with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

President Arnold Rüütel received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ignatius Hekaire Ajuru who presented his Letter of Credentials.President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ignatius Hekaire Ajuru who presented his Letter of Credentials.

The President of the Republic wished Nigeria success in implementing necessary reforms. "Economically successful and stably developing Nigeria will have cooperation capacity and be a good partner with for all its neighbours," President Rüütel said.

"Estonia highly appreciates the constructive steps taken by Nigeria in order to secure peace and stability in the region. Herewith I would like to highlight the participation of your country in the African Union Mission in Sudan," the Estonian Head of State added.

In the words of the Ambassador of Nigeria, as a country with market-oriented economy Nigeria is interested in promoting beneficial economic relations with Estonia, and is especially interested in Estonian investments.
