The President of the Republic congratulated the most successful entrepreneurs20.09.2005
President Arnold Rüütel tonight in Estonia Concert Hall participated in an awarding gala honouring the winners of the contest "Entrepreneurship Award 2005" and the Top List of Estonian Most Competitive Enterprises of the Year 2005, and congratulated the award winners. The President of the Republic is the patron of the contest.
In his greeting address, President Rüütel highlighted the contribution of entrepreneurs to Estonian economy and gave them recognition for the work they have done and the risks they have taken. "There is quite a number of enterprises in Estonia that have taken on part of the responsibility for the development of local life and wish to offer local people opportunities of training and self-realisation. They have earned our respect for that," President Rüütel said. The Head of State wished the entrepreneurs good will to continue the dialogue with local authorities and the Estonian state, to support Estonian culture and to promote a healthy way of living. "This is how we will create a strong basis for the development of economy and society in Estonia," the President of the Republic said.
