The President of the Republic received the best school leaves of general education and vocational schools22.06.2005
President Arnold Rüütel and Mrs. Ingrid Rüütel today received 150 best school leavers of Estonian general education and vocational schools in the Rose Garden of the Kadriorg Residence.
The President of the Republic said that a person could not be valued merely by his or her abilities, but rather how he or she uses given abilities and opportunities. The Head of State wished the school leavers rich-in-ideals and active future, where intelligence, respect towards the work of predecessors and towards one's contemporaries are highly appreciated.
The school leavers were greeted also by Minister of Education and Research Mailis Reps. Kalle Nõmme from Rocca-al-Mare School spoke on behalf of the school leavers.
An ensemble of old music from Kiili School of Arts made music at the reception.
