The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister18.05.2005
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.
During the customary working lunch, topical issues of domestic and foreign policy were discussed. The issues related to Setumaa were discussed at greater length. The Prime Minister explained the Government's plans for solving the problems of the Setu people.
Prime Minister Ansip informed the Head of state about his forthcoming working visit to the Republic of Latvia. The President of the Republic spoke about his visit to Warsaw to participate in the Summit of the Council of Europe, which had ended yesterday.
