The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister20.04.2005
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip. The meeting addressed the tasks the new governing coalition has to face, including the work with drawing up the next year's state budget and the budgeting principles. The Prime Minister introduced the current situation with so called fine for surplus sugar stocks to the Head of State, and assured that the ministers involved with that issue were actively protecting the interests of Estonia.
The President of the Republic and Prime Minister Ansip agreed that from now on they would have regular meetings for exchange of information.
