The President of the Republic congratulated Jalal Talabani07.04.2005
President Rüütel today sent his congratulations to Jalal Talabani on the occasion of his success in the Iraqi presidential elections.
"I wish that your activities as President would be very successful and felicitous, and let your term of office be remembered as a period of further development and wellbeing for Iraq," the Head of Estonian state noted in his message.
President Rüütel expressed hope that the course chosen by Iraq would bring success to the people of Iraq and would contribute to reinforcement of international security and stability and to strengthening of democratic institutions.
The President of the Republic wished Jalal Talabani and the people of Iraq success, happiness and a lot of accomplishments.
