PRELIMINARY NOTICE: The President of the Republic to leave for the funeral of Pope John Paul II06.04.2005
President Arnold Rüütel and Mrs. Ingrid Rüütel will leave on Thursday, April 7, to Vatican to participate in the funeral of Pope John Paul II.
On Friday the Head of State will participate in the funeral ceremony and on Saturday morning in the meeting of the heads of states with the College of Cardinals.
The President of the Republic will arrive back in Estonia Saturday evening.
