The President of the Republic met with the President of Lithuania29.03.2005
 The President of the Republic today at Kadriorg greeted the President of the Lithuanian Republic Valdas Adamkus who had arrived in Estonia for a one-day working visit. With this meeting the Presidents marked the first anniversary of the accession of the Baltic states to NATO.
The visit of the President of Lithuania started with a tźte-ą-tźte meeting of the Presidents and after that the meeting with delegations followed. The meeting addressed the issues of the cooperation of the Baltic states as members of the European Union and NATO, the situation of the Baltic states after the end of WW II, the EU neighbourhood policy and the cooperation with the Nordic countries and with the states of Southern Caucasus.
The Presidents gave a joint press conference. In the evening, the President of the Republic hosted a festive dinner in honour of the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus.
