PRELIMINARY NOTICE: The President of the Republic will visit the Ukrainian Community Centre25.02.2005
President Arnold Rüütel and Mrs. Ingrid Rüütel will visit on Monday afternoon, February 28, the Ukrainian Community Centre in Tallinn (22 Laboratooriumi St.)
At the Ukrainian Community Centre, the presidential couple will be met by the Chairwoman of the Estonian Congress of Ukrainians Vira Konyk, the Elder of Ukrainian Greek Catholic congregation Anatoli Ljutjuk and the Ambassador of Ukraine in Estonia Mikola Makarevich who will give an overview of the Ukrainian Community's activities and plans for future.
The programme also includes a visit to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church where priest Volodymyr Balijenko and the Elder of congregation Anatoli Ljutjuk will speak about the activities of the church, after that the exhibition "A poetical version of the Red Book of European Countries" will be visited (the author of the exhibition is Timo Maran).
The folklore ensemble Vidlunja and a cellist Margarita Aastal will give a concert in honour of the guests.
