The President of the Republic met with the Ambassador of Guinea10.02.2005
 President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea Amara Bangoura.
The President of the Republic told that with the accession to the European Union and NATO, Estonia made another step towards globalization, which has brought along new possibilities and challenges, as well as new obligations and responsibilities ''Regularly held meetings between the European Union and the Economic Community of the West African States would give new dimensions also to the relations between Estonia and Guinea,'' the Estonian Head of State noted.
Ambassador Bangoura assured that he would do his best in order to solidify and develop friendship and cooperation between Estonia and Guinea, first and foremost in the fields of economy, culture and trade.
