The President of the Republic met with health care professionals07.12.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg received representatives of health care professionals' organizations who introduced the current situation and main problems in their area of activity.
At the meeting, the President of the Republic said that he attached great importance to higher valuation of the profession of physicians and nurses, and to engagement of every possibility in order to ensure that organization of work and other factors in medicine would facilitate to the enhancement of public health.
In January 2005, the Public Understanding Forum on Health Care issues will be held to continue the discussion on main problems in medicine and seek solutions for their elimination.
