President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed a resolution to appoint Jaanus Saaremõts to be a judge of a court of the first instance.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Märt Rask presented the nominee for the judge's office to the President of the Republic. The judge took the judge's oath of office before the Head of the State.
Jaanus Saaremõts will assume office at the Tallinn City Court.
