The President of the Republic sent a message of condolences to the President of Turkey23.07.2004
President Arnold Rüütel in his message to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Ahmet Necdet Sezer, on behalf of the people of Estonia extended condolences to those injured in and to the families of the victims of the tragic train accident that occurred yesterday in Turkey.
The message of condolences runs: "I was profoundly shocked by the news of the accident near Pamukova in which dozens of your compatriots died. I wish you and your people fortitude to overcome this terrible tragedy."
