The President of the Republic appointed ambassadors12.07.2004
President Arnold Rüütel on Friday, 9 July, at Kadriorg signed a resolution to appoint Andres Tropp Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Lithuania, to be residing in Vilnius. The President of the Republic appointed Andres Rundu Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Spain, to be residing in Madrid. The Head of State also appointed Juhan Haravee Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland, to be residing in Oslo.
The President of the Republic recalled Rein Oidekivi, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Lithuania, Andres Tomasberg, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Spain, and Peep Jahilo, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland.
