The President of the Republic greeted young athletes21.06.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today greeted young athletes participating in the contest series "TV 10 Olümpiastarti" who opened their 33rd season with a festive procession. The procession from the Kadriorg Palace headed for the Kadriorg Stadium where the contests are to be held.
The President of the Republic acknowledged all those who in the course of thirty-three years had organized the contest series or taken part in it. "Only very good and exciting contests, well organized and carried out in smooth collaboration, can stay in good shape for such a long time," said President Rüütel.
