The President of the Republic to travel to Cesis17.06.2004
President Arnold Rüütel on 20 June will travel to the Republic of Latvia, to Cesis, to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Võnnu and to meet with the President of the Republic of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga.
The President of the Republic at Cesis is scheduled to attend a joint parade of the Defence Forces of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Võnnu, to meet President Vike-Freiberga, and to hold with the Latvian President a joint press conference.
Attention journalists: the joint press conference by the Presidents of Estonia and Latvia will take place at 17:30 pm on Sunday, June 20, at Hotel Cesis (Cesis, Vienibas laukums 1).
