The President of the Republic met the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana10.06.2004
 President Rüütel today at Kadriorg received credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana, Rowland Issifu Alhassan.
According to the President of the Republic, Estonia followed with sympathy Ghana's efforts on the road toward economic and social progress, and valued highly Ghana's role in safeguarding peace and stability in the whole region. President Rüütel wished the Ambassador success in developing the bilateral trade, economic and cultural ties between Estonia and Ghana.
Ambassador Alhassan congratulated the President of the Republic on Estonia's political stability and economic and social development, and assured that he endeavours to execute his duties with a view to strengthening relations between Ghana and Estonia for the mutual benefit of our Governments and peoples.
