President Arnold Rüütel today sent to United States President George W. Bush a message of condolences upon the death of the 40th President of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan.
The message of condolences runs: "It was with deep sorrow and grief that I learned of the death of Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States of America. Please convey my personal and all Estonians' sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Ronald Reagan. Our thoughts are with you in your mourning.
We will always remember President Reagan as a highly recognized statesman and an active, brilliant and reform-minded politician."
The President of the Republic today also made an entry in the book of condolences opened in the Embassy of the United States of America.
