PRELIMINARY NOTICE: The President of the Republic tomorrow to visit enterprises in Ida-Virumaa07.06.2004
President Arnold Rüütel tomorrow, on June 8, will visit enterprises in Ida-Virumaa.
Tomorrow morning, the President of the Republic will meet with the Acting County Governor of Ida-Virumaa, Leo Raidma, the Deputy County Governor, Agu Värimäe, the Mayor of Sillamäe, Ain Kiviorg, and the Chairman of the Town Council of Sillamäe, Valdek Murd. President Rüütel will visit the Limited Company Silmet Grupp and familiarize himself with the construction works at the Port of Sillamäe.
In the afternoon, the President of the Republic will call at the railway car building factory UVZ&AVR and the building materials factory AS Silbet. Thereafter, the President of the Republic will have a conversation with heads of department of the County Government of Ida-Virumaa and the Board of the Association of Local Governments of Ida-Virumaa, and hold a press conference.
In the evening, President Rüütel will visit the Limited Company Viru Keemiagrupp, and the Virumaa College and the Oil Shale Research Institute of the Tallinn Technical University.
Attention journalists: The press conference will take place at 16:00 pm at the County Government of Ida-Virumaa (Keskväljaku 1, Jõhvi).
