The President of the Republic promulgated seven acts21.05.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed resolutions to promulgate the Act on the Termination of the International Agreements Related to the Baltic Battalion; the Biocides Act; and the Act on the Accession to the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union passed by the Riigikogu on 12 May 2004; the Act on Amendments to the Republic of Estonia Education Act, Universities Act, University of Tartu Act, Institutions of Applied Higher Education Act and Recognition of Foreign Professional Qualifications Act passed by the Riigikogu on 13 May 2004; as well as the Act on Amendments to the Alcohol Act and State Fees Act passed by the Riigikogu on 19 May 2004.
The President promulgated also the Act on Amendments to the Peace-Time National Defence Act and the Act on Amendments to the Income Tax Act, Local Taxes Act and Taxation Act passed by the Riigikogu on 20 May 2004.
