The President of the Republic to make an official visit to Switzerland17.05.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today together with Mrs Ingrid Rüütel will embark on an official visit to the Swiss Confederation.
On Tuesday, May 18, the Estonian Head of State at the Lohn Manor will meet with Swiss President Joseph Deiss, and visit Bern and Zurich.
On Wednesday, the President of the Republic will visit the Confederal Research Centre of Agrarian Ecology and Agriculture at Zurich-Reckenholz, the Cantonal Strickhof Centre at Lindau, the farm of Cantonal Counsellor Hansjörg Schmid, President of the Swiss Milk Producers Association, at Welsikon/Dinhard, and the Town of Regensberg.
President Rüütel will return to Estonia on Wednesday.
