The President of the Republic thanked the Ambassador of Spain12.03.2004
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Fernando Carderera Soler, today at Kadriorg paid a farewell call on President Arnold Rüütel who thanked the Ambassador for his contribution to representing Spain as well as promoting Spanish language and culture in Estonia.
The President of the Republic at the meeting one more time expressed condolences over the devastating terrorist attacks carried out yesterday in Madrid.
President Rüütel thanked the Government and the people of Spain for their support to Estonia's accession to NATO and the European Union, and for the rapid ratification of the Accession Treaties by the Spanish Parliament.
