The President of the Republic sent a letter of condolences over the death of the President of Macedonia27.02.2004
President Arnold Rüütel in his letter on his own behalf and on the behalf of the people of Estonia extended to the President of the Macedonian Parliament, Ljubco Jordanovski, sympathy and condolences over the tragic death of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski in a plain crash.
The letter of condolences says: "This is an extremely hard blow for both Macedonia and the international community. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the whole people of Macedonia. We will always remember President Boris Trajkovski as a highly recognized Head of State and an active, reform-minded politician."
