The President of the Republic met the Legal Chancellor20.01.2004
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with Legal Chancellor Allar Jõks. The Legal Chancellor provided the President a summary of his activities in 2003 and an overview of his plans and priorities for 2004.
The President expressed his delight at their thus-far smooth cooperation covering various areas from national defence to social welfare. The Legal Chancellor, too, spoke well of their cooperation, and paid tribute to the President for his active role in addressing issues essential to Estonia and for his consistency in promoting the process of our national agreement. At the meeting, also several issues of constitutional law were under discussion.
