The President of the Republic met with trade union leader Harri Taliga

President Rüütel today at Kadriorg met the Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Confederation of Trade Unions, Harri Taliga. Their meeting focused on the role of trade unions in and their increasing influence on Estonian society. Problems of social partnership and participatory democracy were primarily dealt with in the context of Estonian National Agreement.
