The President of the Republic met with pupils of Stockholm's Estonian School23.05.2003
President Rüütel this afternoon received a visit from pupils and Headmaster Jaan Seim of the Estonian School of Stockholm.
President Rüütel at the meeting said that pupils with Estonian roots could come here even several times a year, and voiced hope that some of them, one day, after having seen Estonia's beauty and rapid economic growth made up their minds to settle down here.
The President of the Republic during his working visit to the Kingdom of Sweden at the beginning of this year had visited the Estonian School of Stockholm and invited pupils and teachers to Estonia. The seventh- and eighthgraders, the headmaster and teachers of the Estonian School of Stockholm will spend also the next day in Estonia intending to see, first of all, the sights of Tallinn.
