On the appointment and recall of ambassadors17.03.2003
The President of the Republic, Arnold Rüütel, today signed a resolution to appoint Harri Tiido the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (to be residing in Brussels), Alar Streimann the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the Council of Europe (to be residing in Strasbourg), and Gea Rennel the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Estonia to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (to be residing in Vienna).
The Head of State recalled the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, Sulev Kannike, and the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, Ants Frosch.
