The President's Academic Council held a meeting20.12.2002
The President's Academic Council chaired by President Arnold Rüütel assembled this afternoon at Kadriorg.
First, the Academic Council heared and discussed the report on the key problems of Estonia's demographic developments made by the Director of the Estonian Inter-university Population Research Centre, Member of the Academic Council Kalev Katus.
Thereafter, a debate about the contents and different ways of reaching our national agreement took place. The basic report on the subject under discussion was presented by the Director of the Estonian Institute for Future Studies, Erik Terk.
