The President of the Republic to go to Brussels

President Arnold Rüütel Tuesday evening will fly to Brussels where he is scheduled to meet with the President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, the Enlargement Commissioner, Günter Verheugen, and others. The main subject of their talks will be the course of Estonia's accession negotiations and the terms and conditions of the accession.

The Estonian Head of State in Brussels on 27 November will meet with members of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture, Joseph Daul. The working visit will be continued by visiting the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia.

In the morning of Thursday, 28 November, President Rüütel is scheduled to have a talk with the President of the European Economic and Social Committee, Roger Briesch. In the afternoon, the Head of State will meet with President of the European Commission Romano Prodi and Enlargement Commissioner Günther Verheugen.
