The President of the Republic to visit Austria18.11.2002
President Arnold Rüütel on Tuesday, 19 November, will fly to Vienna in order to meet with Austrian President Thomas Klestil and to attend the celebration of the 90th birthday of Dr Otto von Habsburg.
At the meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening at the Hofburg Palace, the Estonian Head of State intends to discuss with President Klestil development of the bilateral relations between Estonia and Austria and issues connected with enlargement of the European Union and NATO.
The celebration of the jubilee of Dr Otto von Habsburg, the President of Pan-European Union, will start Wednesday morning with a High Mass at St. Stepan's Cathedral and continue with a ceremony at the Hofburg Palace.
