The President of the Republic met with the Prime Minister06.11.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg, during his traditional working Wednesday-lunch, discussed with Prime Minister Siim Kallas several topics of domestic and foreign policy.
The Prime Minister briefed the Head of State on the priorities of the national development plan discussed by the Cabinet yesterday. In addition, Siim Kallas explained government committee's positions on the action plan concerning accession to NATO, and Estonia's short- and long term tasks deriving from that.
The President and the Prime Minister also talked about the results of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Valentina Matviyenko's visit having ended yesterday.
