The President of the Republic promulgated seven acts31.10.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed the resolution to promulgate the Copyright Act Amendment Act; the Act on Amendments to § 12 of the Customs Tariffs Act and Customs Code; the Act on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) on the Legal Status of NEFCO in the Republic of Estonia, passed by the Riigikogu on October 16 and the Act on Amendments to § 36.1 (5) of the Republic of Estonia Education Act and the Act on Amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure, passed on October 22.
The President also promulgated the Act on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Estonia and the Government of the Republic of Latvia for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and the Act on the Ratification of the Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, made on September 15-17, 1997, in Montreal, passed by the Riigikogu on October 23.
