The President of the Republic is holding consultations with the Parliament's factions21.10.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today entered into consultations with factions of the Riigikogu on the candidacy for Auditor General.
The Head of State in the afternoon at Kadriorg met with Marju Lauristin from the Faction Mõõdukad, thereafter, Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party Faction Toomas Varek, Vice-Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party Faction Kalev Kukk, and Chairman of the Estonian People's Union Villu Reiljan. In the evening, the President had consultations also with Chairman of the Pro Patria Union Faction Tiit Sinisaar, Chairman of the Estonian Coalition Party Faction Mart Siimann, and Member of the Riigikogu, leader of the Social Democratic Labour Party Tiit Toomsalu.
President Rüütel will continue the consultations on Friday.
