The President of the Republic met with the Ambassador of Croatia21.10.2002
Ambassador of Croatia Željko Bošnjak today at Kadriorg made his farewell call on President Arnold Rüütel.
The Ambassador acknowledged Estonia's rapid progress and successful preparations for joining the European Union and NATO which, according to him, Croatia had taken as an example. The Estonian Head of State noted that, whereas Croatia's and Estonia's objectives in terms of European integration were identical, it was only natural that our two nations worked together to enhance stability in Europe and its regions.
Željko Bošnjak has been Croatia's Ambassador to Estonia residing in Helsinki since 1999.
