The President of the Republic promulgated seven acts07.10.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed the resolution to promulgate the following acts:
The Customs Duty Exemption Act, and the Act on the Ratification of the Convention between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Austria for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, passed by the Riigikogu on September 17;
The Code of Criminal Procedure, Precious Metal Products Proofs Act, Local Government Organisation Act, Medicinal Products Act, Archives Act, Competition Act and Penal Code Amendment Act, passed on September 18, and the Foreign Service Act, adopted by the Riigikogu on the same day;
The Energy Act Amendment Act, passed by the Riigikogu on September 24;
The Second Supplementary Budget of the Year 2002 Act, and the Act on the Accession to the Convention on Recognition of Divorces and Legal Separations, passed on September 25.
