The President of the Republic appointed to office a new Minister of Culture30.08.2002
President Arnold Rüütel this evening at Paslepa signed a resolution to appoint Margus Allikmaa a Member of the Government of the Republic, the Minister of Culture.
Before signing the resolution, the President met with Prime Minister Siim Kallas and Margus Allikmaa talking with them Mr Allikmaa's previous work, the situation with the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, and other cultural issues.
