The President of the Republic promulgated seven acts21.06.2002
President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed the resolution to promulgate the Law of Obligations Act, General Principles of the Civil Code Act and the Private International Law Act Implementation Act passed by the Riigikogu on June 5.
The President further promulgated the Merchant Shipping Act; the Act on Amendments to the Language Act and on the Repeal of § 6 of the Language Act and State Fees Act Amendment Act; the Act on the Accession to the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-operation in respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children; the Act on the Ratification of the Convention on Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims, 1976; and the Act on the Ratification of the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage by Sea, 1974, and the Protocol Thereto; passed on June 5 as well.
The President also promulgated the State Pension Insurance Act Amendment Act passed on June 19.
