The President of the Republic will open the Tartu Student Games17.05.2002
President Arnold Rüütel tonight at the stadium of Tartu University will pronounce international student games opened.
These are the 18th SELL Games - a trial of strength in many sports between student athletes from Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Estonia. In addition to athletes from the aforementioned countries, student athletes from Germany, Japan, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA also will take part in the Tartu Games. The SELL Games were launched in 1923.
