The President of the Republic travelled to Prague01.05.2002
President Arnold Rüütel this afternoon travelled to Prague, where he will meet with the President of the Czech Republic, Václav Havel, as well as the Head of State of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, and the President of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus. The Heads of State will discuss NATO enlargement and preparations for the NATO Summit scheduled for November in Prague.
Tonight in Prague, President Arnold Rüütel will meet Estonians living there. Tomorrow morning, President Rüütel will have a bilateral meeting with Czech President Havel. At noon, the Heads of State will meet all four together. In the afternoon, the Czech Institute for International Relations and Radio Free Europe will hold a forum entitled "Our common future in the Atlantic Community". At the forum, the Presidents of the Baltic States will speak.
