The President of the Republic convened the National Defence Council

Convened by President Arnold Rüütel, the National Defence Council assembled at Kadriorg this afternoon.
The Council discussed the regular conferment of military ranks on officers of the Defence Forces in connection with the anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.
